Tony McCoy O'Grady. Mankey is a slang word for dirty. A long time ago a group of boyscouts set to cleaning out a river-fed swimming pool. There was a lot of knee-high silt/mud/decaying-vegatation at the bottom of the pool which was nicknamed 'mank'. The scouts thought that they had coined a new word, but there was probably some subconscious reference to 'mankey' Assorted Adjectives |
