EDWIN HERMANN (4) | Evident Delay With Instalment - Not Having Expendable 'Readies' Means Acronymsite Now Nonfunctional |

INSTANT FAME | Immediate Notoriety, Simply Tack Advertising Nonsense To Forums And Miff Everybody! |
Angela Brett, when somebody spammed the Apronyms Forums about a website promising 'instant fame', where the fame was no more than having your name on a website... something you could achieve by posting a message on the forums. I don't recommend spamming the forums, however, please post something constructive instead. |
INSTANT FAME (2) | I'll Now Spam To Attract Nitwits To Find About My Eminence |
Angela Brett, when somebody spammed the Apronyms Forums about a website promising 'instant fame', where the fame was no more than having your name on a website. The site appeared to be run by the Yellow Pages, and as I doubt they would resort to forum-spam for advertising, I can only assume the poster was trying to attract people to the site in order to increase his or her own 'fame'. Although, if having your name on a website counts as fame, then the simple act of posting on the forums gave just as much fame as the fame website itself. |
INSTANT FAME (3) | "I'm Not Stupid... To Achieve Notoriety, Try Forming Apronyms." -- Miss Expansion 2003 |
Angela Brett, when somebody spammed the Apronyms Forums about a website promising 'instant fame', where the fame was no more than having your name on the website. If having your name on a website counts as fame, then a much better way to get famous is to submit apronyms to this site. (Note that this apronym was added in 2005... but I haven't added many apronyms recently so I won't claim that fictitious title for this year.) |
